It takes a lot of great people to make a university great. During the busiest times in the academic year, more than 12,000 people work at Western, including approximately 1408 full-time faculty members and 2461 full-time staff members. We are proud to have been named one of Canada's Top 100 Employers for three years in a row - 2014, 2015 and 2016.

Because we are like a small city, with a population of well over 40,000, Western offers a broad and exciting variety of employment opportunities. We employ groundskeepers and research assistants, IT specialists and cooks, accountants, administrative assistants, police officers, engineers, human resource specialists, caretakers, communication officers, and many more.
